The Others - Made in France - Les Instantanés Ordinaires

Made in India by photographer Olivier Culmann, The Others is a work on the country's societal codes and their modes of representation. It is above all a memory game !

His basic material is a series of self-portraits reflecting the visual and clothing specificities defining each Indian: religion, social class, profession, geographical origin, etc.

Based on the Memory game, the rules have been slightly modified:

• The game includes 12 photographs (in duplicate) and 12 paintings (in duplicate).
• The paintings were made from photographs.
• So there is the possibility of creating a pair with the painting that comes from the photograph.
• It is also possible to play in a "classic" way.
