The Others - Made in France - Les Instantanés Ordinaires

Memory game in collaboration with Olivier Culmann.

Produced in India by photographer Olivier Culmann, The Others is a work on the country's societal codes and their modes of representation.

Its basic material is a series of self-portraits reflecting the visual and sartorial specificities defining each Indian: religion, social class, profession, geographical origin, etc.

Based on the Memory game we have modified the rules a little.

The game includes 12 photographs (duplicates) and 12 paintings (duplicates).

The paintings were made from the photographs.

There is therefore the possibility of creating a pair with the painting which comes from the photograph.

It is also possible to play in a "classical" way.
